I havent posted since August!!!

In other news...

Things are just about calm around here. The mother has made the journey to jolly ol' England and is at her first gig as a carer. I can't think of anyone better suited to the job to be honest. She has been so patient with me all these years that old people (is that PC?) should be a piece of cake. I know that some people are always questioning the sanity of my family but I say that we are just plain brave. My mother has gumption that is for sure.

As Christmas is upon us and following the New Year I figure it is time to reflect on everything that happened...but that would be really boring. Don't get me wrong a lot of really exciting things happened this year. Stephanie got married, Laura moved to NY, Sarah is starting PA school and living on her own, I mean these are real accomplishments. But for me this year has been a prep for next year when I will be tying the knot. Getting married was never a priority for me, ask anyone. But with Simon...all I want to do is say "I do" and be Mrs. Thompson. The man is amazing and has planned the most amazing honeymoon.

2010 is also the year that Troika Theatre Company WILL be born. I put that in capital letters because it WILL happen. We WILL have a debut show that is sold out and we WILL wow audiences across the fringe. I have some pretty freaking talented people working with me so I just don't see how it could not succeed. I just wish I had more of my Theatre Gals with me because this is going to be big and I want so bad for them to be apart of it. But when we are a multi-million dollar producing company we WILL be able to get whoever we want!

I also guess that the whole getting into shape thing is big but again until I reach my weight goal in 2010 poor little 2009 will just be the prep. But everyone needs a year that is just building towards the greater goal and 2009 has done that for me.

I plan on writing more often. does everyone say that?
