Well check one more thing off my to-do list of life. I am in a musical. That's right folks...I am the Little Red Haired Girl in You're a Good Man Charlie Brown. Now I just have to actually do it.
And the thing about to do lists is that generall only half of the things actually really and truly get done. AND I LOVE TO DO LISTS. I love writing them, for me, for Simon, for everyone. I love crossing things off and then when they get too messy I love re-writing them.
But the thing is...I could spend my whole life just writing to-do lists. And if you life is just a series of lists, where does spontaneity come into play?
And what if you write that one list where nothing gets done on it? Were your expectations too high? Can you check something off if you maybe sort of almost got something done?
Would that be cheating at life?
I cheat through life anyway. I am a pretend adult. My father is still helping me pay my student loan off, so I cant claim to be financially independent. and I dont want to be becuase they would be hauling me off to jail. Well maybe not because I could hide out in London for a while.
So what do to do lists really do for me?
